On Saturday, December 3rd, the Texas Longhorns would trail behind UCLA with two minutes in the first half only to close that deficit and open the second half with a 20-7 run, eventually taking a 6-point lead they would refuse to give up. It was an exciting basketball day for Longhorn fans as they beat the UCLA Bruins 69-59.
J’Covan Brown, who has been hot since the start of the season, and Myck Kabongo would play hard this game. The two guards led the team with everyone else filling in to do their part and gain the victory for Texas. The pair combined for 35 points, 5-11 three-point shooting, 6 rebounds, and 9 assists against just 4 turnovers. It was an impressive display of basketball.
